Dream a Little, Dream of Me

"Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me"
~ Dream a Little Dream of Me, Louis Armstrong
Ahh... I lurrve that song. That's not the point though. This post is not about that song though, it's about something completely different.

I can't remember any of the things I've ever dreamed about... I can remember bits and pieces though. I remember this nightmare I had when I was two. I was held at gun point by a crazy mechanic who had already shot both my parents (yes, I was VERY imaginative even at the young age of two). XD

I also remember an old uncle who has now passed away, telling me that remembering your dreams means that they will never come true. I never figured out whether or not that's true but I thank my lucky stars that I remember the crazy mechanic one because even if there's the slightest chance that they may come true at least I can rule out being ever held at gun point by a crazy mechanic!

Don't worry, I'm not that crazy that I only dream of such thing as that. Of course, I dream my fair shares of hot guys and fairytale happy endings! ;)

So what do you dream of?

I dream things that dont make sense, so that's probably why I remember them (they won't come true, from what you say).

Usually it involves running around a half-familiar place (like my neighborhood, but the streets are twisted, its on a slant or something) searching for something, or exploring (not purposely, but kind of seeing a bunch of places, not just one, hard to explain).

And they are almost always accompanied by some kind of guilt feeling, or worrying feeling something like that. My gut always feels off at one point, which is sometimes how I distinguish it as a dream.

But I remember when I was five or so, I had a nightmare of this witch head cackling and coming towards me. It was on Halloween night though, so makes sense.

Lol... cool. That was interesting. :) I'm not really sure whether the 'remembered dreams never come true thing' is true.

Yes... I understand witches. Witches and I are well acquainted in the land of dreams ;)

I've only like had three nightmares total in my entire life! (thank god! :P)
I usually dream a lot about the sea/ocean! And when i say a lot, i mean a LOT!! My favorites are the ones with the stormy seas and drizzling rain! I can literally feel the wind and the scent of salt in the air!!

luis armstrong....do you hav that song? His 'what a wonderful world' is one of my all time favorites.
Guess, I have dreamed way too long and enuff to realize that dreams are just dreams and don't mean a thing. What matters seem to be reality!
Luv, dhombe

I have the michael buble version of the song.

Come on though, no matter how long you've been dreaming you have to admit that dreams matter as much as the reality.. sometimes even more... ;)
